There are two ways to win at idnpoker. In the most common of them, the winner of each poker hand is the player who has the highest hand at the time all cards are shown at the end of that hand. However, not always the hand ends with all players showing their cards. Throughout the hand, players can place bets. If a player makes a bet and no other player accepts to call, he will be the winner of that hand without having to show what cards he had.
How to start a poker game
Poker games always run clockwise and have mandatory minimum bets, called small and big blinds. The game starts with players seated after the dealer. The two players to the left of the dealer are required to post a big blind and a small blind, respectively.
What are blinds?
The blind is a mandatory bet, made even before the cards have been dealt. This happens to initiate betting and build the pot. After both players have paid the blinds, the cards are dealt face down. The player to the left of the one who posted the big blind begins the betting process. He must decide whether to fold that hand, pay the big blind to continue, or rise, forcing other players to pay more to play that hand. Play continues clockwise until all players have decided whether to fold, call or rise.
How to play flop Poker
In Texas Hold’em, the first three-community cards open on the table are called the flop. These three cards are dealt face up, and players can make their hand stronger using any combination of community cards and the two they have in their hand. Thus, a new round of betting begins.
Check
Checking is continuing the game without betting. However, it is important to note that players can only check when there is no bet during the round being plays.
Raise
Raise means to increase. That is, the player can bet, increasing the amount in dispute in that hand. Thus, the other players can only continue in the hand if they pay the amount.
Fold
Fold is the same as giving up. Players who fold their cards cannot take any further actions in that hand.
Turn
After the post-flop betting round is complete, a fourth community card is dealt, which is called the turn. After the turn, another round of betting begins. Players can, once again, check (if no one has opened the betting), call, raise or fold.
How to play river poker
Once the betting round after the turn is complete, a fifth community card is dealt. It is called the river. After the fifth and final community card is turned up, a final round of betting begins. Again, players can check, call, raise or fold.
Showdown
After the last bet or rise has been called during the final round of betting, a showdown occurs. Remaining active idnpoker online players must show or ‘declare’ their hands. Remembering that, if at any point during any of the betting rounds, all players fold, leaving only one remaining, the player wins the pot.
